Dear Community, Happy Summer Solstice!!! Even though the longest day of the year was last week, we continue to celebrate the warm summer days and the new life they bring. This year, Kamala’s Birthday and Yoga Galactica are on the same day, June 28, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than to spend it with you, practicing yoga, working on ourselves and building community. We will have two powerful, energy lifting classes that are sure to shift your consciousness in your body, mind and spirit. Join us in the morning at 1030am in beautiful Runyon Canyon for an invigorating class under the trees with the birds. Then at 730pm join us at our new, super special home for Yoga Galactica. The location isn’t new to us or the community as it’s been a staple venue for large and small events alike but it will be our new home for Tuesday evening class. It’s a glorious residence and event space called The Alchemy in the Hollywood hills(backside of Runyon) and there is a backyard garden oasis where we will be teaching class. The space truly has a magical feel to it. Tomorrow night, June 28, will be a special class because we get to practice on the day Kamala gets her new 4.5 bio-software upgrade(it’s her birthday). Come early, 7pm, for tea and treats, and stay after to hang, socialize and enjoy each others company. For the address click the event invite HERE. We would love for you to join us and come with a friend so you can carpool. Lastly, we spent the day yesterday outdoors at Eaton Canyon with good friends exploring nature. We found some water springs, splashed around and reconnected with mother earth. It was rejuvenating and exactly what we needed to feel grounded and connected to source. We recommend throughout your busy day to find some time to connect with nature, especially barefoot. Take a walk through a park or a local hike and see how much better you feel afterwards. It’s a good time for reflection and introspection. Plus you get an opportunity to activate your internal shamanic healing powers.
